Beautiful. Numerous caves that the Treasure Island book is based on, one of them actually contained treasure. Maybe you will find something valuable?
A restaurant on the beach, great place to have lunch. Optionally, we can stop at Willy T instead of Pirates Bight.
A great place to snorkel
Norman Island was the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel ‘Treasure Island’. Explore the three water level caves and search for treasure which was last found in 1915. The caves are stunning and atmospheric with schools of Yellowtail Jacks and Sergeant Majors as you snorkel the calm, crystal clear water. You will also see lots of orange-cup coral and red sponges covering the walls of the caves. Angelfish Reef off Norman is a good place to glimpse sea turtles. The Bight, Kelly’s Cove and the nearby Indians offer exceptional snorkeling.
Start your day with a snorkel at The Indians off Norman Island, followed by a snorkel at The Caves.
We then cruise into the Bight passing the (in)famous Willie-T floating bar and restaurant. Your captain will dock the vessel at Pirates Beach and you can have a pre-lunch swim or snorkel.
We then have lunch at the wonderful Pirates Restaurant. Lunch costs are not included in Tour.
Decision time…….party time at The Willy T or another snorkel at Kelly’s Cove which is around the corner from the Bight. No problem for the captain if your group wishes to split up for these options.
Enjoy a Celtic Painkiller made by your captain before we glide back to Tortola as the sun begins to set over St Thomas providing a beacon to bring us safely home and complete our perfect day.
We can either meet at our private dock in Towers, West End at 9.00am, to return at 5.00pm, OR we can pick up at any Marina/Private dock on Tortola. There is a fuel surcharge for pick up/drop off at any islands other than Tortola.
Captain, Fuel, Snorkeling Equipment, Towels, Soft Drinks/Beers/Snacks, Cruising Permits, National Parks Fees are included in the price. Lunch costs not included in Tour.
Gratuity is at your discretion.
