1. Morning Snorkel at Salt Island
Begin your day with a scenic ride to Salt Island, named after its historic salt ponds once used for curing and seasoning. Just offshore lies the famous RMS Rhone, a Royal Mail Steamer that sank in 1867. If sea conditions permit, we’ll snorkel above this fascinating wreck site—now a vibrant coral haven featured in the film The Deep.
2. Reef & Relaxation Cooper Island Snorkel Tour
Next, we cruise to Manchioneel Bay on Cooper Island. Here, you’ll enjoy a pre-lunch snorkel at Cistern Point or Little Carvel Rock, both known for clear visibility and colorful sea life. Then head ashore to Cooper Island Beach Clubfor a delicious lunch (not included) and time to explore the boutique, microbrewery, rum bar, coffee shop, and ice cream counter. Or simply unwind on the palm-lined beach.
🍽️ Midday Lunch Stop
Lunch is served at Cooper Island Beach Club, one of the most sustainable and stylish eateries in the BVI. Let your captain know your preferences, and he’ll help you plan accordingly. Lunch not included in tour price.
3. Afternoon at Deadman’s Bay
Our final stop is Deadman’s Bay on Peter Island, where calm waters and soft white sand set the stage for a dreamy afternoon. The bay is perfect for snorkeling or simply relaxing in the shade of towering palms. Keep an eye out for green sea turtles and spotted stingrays that frequent the area.
⛱️ Sunset Return after Peter, Salt, Cooper Island Snorkel Tour
As we cruise back toward Tortola, enjoy a cold drink and toast to an unforgettable day. The sun setting over nearby St. Thomas marks the perfect end to this Southern BVI escape.
⚠️ Important Note
Snorkeling at the RMS Rhone wreck is dependent on sea conditions and may be substituted with other nearby snorkeling locations if needed.
