About this BVI Private Boat Tour

Unwind where pirates once roamed and the sea sparkles with adventure. This full-day Jost Van Dyke & Western Islands Tour blends BVI’s most beautiful beaches, hidden cays, and lively beach culture into one flexible itinerary. It’s designed for families, couples, or groups who want to snorkel, explore, and soak in the laid-back vibes of the British Virgin Islands.

Start your day snorkeling at one of the western cays—Sandy Spit, Sandy Cay, Green Cay, or Little Jost Van Dyke—each known for calm waters and colorful coral gardens. Depending on conditions, your captain will guide the way to ensure the best visibility and comfort.

Next, we’ll cruise to Jost Van Dyke, home of the iconic Soggy Dollar Bar and other popular hangouts like Ivan’s Stress-Free Bar and Hendo’s Hideout. Choose between the turquoise shallows of White Bay, the more local charm of Great Harbour, or take a short hike to the Bubbly Pool, a natural foaming rock basin loved by kids and adults alike.

Throughout the day, we keep the schedule relaxed but exciting—with plenty of time to snorkel, swim, eat, or just lay back and sip something cold. This tour is great for all ages and perfect for those looking to escape the crowds while still hitting legendary BVI highlights.

This tour is designed to include the key western destinations around Jost Van Dyke. However, based on sea conditions and group preferences, the captain may substitute nearby locations to ensure safety and enjoyment.

An Unforgettable Experience with Friends

The Jost Van Dyke & Western Islands Tour is a laid-back, full-day outing designed for travelers looking to experience the best of the BVI’s west side—above and below the water.

It begins with a morning cruise toward the uninhabited cays like Sandy Spit, Green Cay, or Little Jost Van Dyke, depending on conditions. These postcard-worthy islets offer excellent snorkeling with shallow coral reefs and calm anchorages. You’ll have plenty of time to swim, float, or just relax on the beach.

After exploring the water, we cruise over to Jost Van Dyke itself. Depending on the mood of your group and the conditions, you may take a short walk to the Bubbly Pool—a natural rock basin that fizzes to life when the north swell rolls in—or settle in for some sun at White Bay or Great Harbour. Both options offer crystal-clear water and a lively or peaceful vibe depending on your choice.

We’ll break for lunch at one of the island’s many beachside restaurants—your captain can help choose the perfect spot. Afterward, you’ll have time to unwind on the sand, grab a cocktail, or go for a final snorkel before cruising back to Tortola.

The boat is stocked with snorkeling gear, soft drinks, beer, snacks, and towels, and your captain is there to make sure the day flows as smoothly as the sea. This tour is perfect for families, groups, or anyone wanting a taste of the true BVI vibe.
